In short: Epic, titanic, heroic, victorious
In full: Chuffine glorious. Brilliant course, hard as nails, just remember to follow the saw dust and tie your shoes up tightly so they don't get sucked into the mud. Also don't hare off like a loon as I promise you it will come back to bite you! Cheers Orion you all did a fantastic job on a brilliant sunny spring day.

In short: It was short, FACT!
In full: This isn't a debate about Garmin accuracies. It was short, and times reflected this! The facts are the route was changed, I assume because it was deemed dangerous having a right turn on to Harcourt Ave, fair enough. But why was this only thought about on the day, why was this not relayed to the runners at the start? The marshals were excellent and did a brilliant job stopping traffic and offering encouragement. Shame the distance debate has taken the shine away from them.

In short: Enjoyable
In full: I think I ran in a different race to the people below. There were marshals everywhere at the start telling people where to go. Bands and music were all over the place which were really enjoyable. The course was challenging but interesting. The crowds watching were great. I'm sure this sort of event costs a fortune to put on with all the road closures and policing, I chose to pay the entry fee as the race is abit different, who gives a toss about cereal bars & goody bags that are generally full of fliers and rubbish anyway. Shame that TFL let the event down.

In short: Good club race and a fast course
In full: Well done Kent for getting the race on after all the snow. Was great to be a part of such a high standard race (30 runners under 60mins) which shows how fast the course is. Good facilities but have to agree that getting water to the runners has to be more of a priority next time. But see you next year!

In short: Slip and slide.....
In full: The weather consipired to make the conditions really tough - mud, rain and wind. Despite this the course was fantastic and had abit of assult course feel as I hurdled a style to then scramble up a clay field wearing road shoes! Great organisation, motivating marshalls (well done for standing out there so long) and a cool T-shirt as well. I will be back.

In short: Good intentions, up down and up and down.....
In full: Won't add to the start comments enough already said. Not sure if it's fast or not due to the undulations but the second half of both laps offered some slight downhills which allow you to make up some lost time. I was very appreciative of the buses laid on, I was on the train this was so this was the clincher for me entering as I knew I'd be able to get the start. And well done marshalls.

In short: Enjoyable
In full: Firstly DRR have done a great job in organising and pulling off a great race. It's a challanging course, great marshalls, and nice t-shirt, shake, banana goody bags etc. Downside the start was abit congested which added another minute to my first mile by comparisson to the rest of the race. You also need to take care overtaking runners on some of the route as you have to step into traffic. But all in all I will back again next year.
