In short: Lovely way to spend Sunday morning!
In full: Congratulations to Sam and her Team - very well organised, excellent communications before race, very well marshalled - would have been absolutely impossible to get lost or take the wrong turn!

Lovely venue for the start/finish so great to be able to indulge in tea and cakes afterwards!

Thanks Sam and Marlow FM - hope it becomes a regular event - will be looking out for it next year!

In short: Great way to spend a Sunday morning!
In full: Really enjoyed myself - small, friendly race in beautiful countryside. Well marshaled and well marked course and the first XC race I've ever done where the organizers had kindly marked tree roots/tree stumps in fluorescent paint! Nice hard race with killer hills and we were warned at the start that although billed as 10K it was actually longer (6.5 miles by my reckoning!) well that's my excuse when broadcasting my time!! Well done to the organizers.

In short: Lovely race - very hard but great atmosphere and lovely scenery!
In full: Very good, hard multi-terrain race with great organisation, lovely atmosphere, beautiful scenery and fantastic cakes - what more could you ask! I think they've made it harder and longer than it used to be a few years back - but then I'm a few years older so I guess it would seem harder!! Thanks Pewsey Vale Running Club!

In short: As they say - blood, sweat and hills - wonderful!
In full: I LOVE this race (even though I'm a slow, old person!). A real challenge - very tough YES but if it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing! Killer hills, both up and down, but some grippy off-road shoes, a bit of training and a lot of determination make for a great day out!

In short: Great way to end the running year!
In full: I LOVE this race! Definitely has the 'feel good' factor!

Lovely, friendly atmosphere and as I said at the beginning - a really great way to finish the year!

Surprised that people feel the need for spikes on this course. Even on previous wet and slippy years a good pair of off-road shoes seems to do the job.

Thanks Burnham Joggers - see you next year!

In short: Nice scenery, nice T-shirt, friendly atmosphere and KILLER HILLS!
In full: I have always said this is one of the hardest half marathons I do each year. Maybe memory plays tricks, but even though I've done it before, each year the hills come as a nasty shock and I keep thinking 'surely it wasn't THIS bad last time?'! However, I keep coming back for more so Marlow Striders are doing something right - thanks again guys for a great race!

In short: As others have said, great way to finish off the year!
In full: I LOVED this race and am only sorry I haven't done it before! Very friendly, not too bad underfoot and the steps are killers (all three times!).

In short: Started the New Year off in style for me!
In full: I absolutely LOVED this race. One of the toughest races I have ever done (and that includes a LOT of multi terrain and XC hard stuff!). Well organised and marshalled with good baggage store and changing tents! Beautiful scenery and a good atmosphere. Must remember next time to run faster - or buy my cake BEFORE the race as all the homemade ones had gone by the time I got there!

In short: Great race - nice atmosphere and well organised.
In full: Lovely race - killer hills for a real sense of achievement! Always well organised, loads of marshals - all friendly and encouraging and a nice T-shirt and a Mars bar at the end - what more could you ask? Thank you Marlow Striders for a lovely race!
