In short: Once again a magnificently organised race, very cold this year so took a little while to warm up but really enjoyed it.

In short: Lovely race especially for a first time - great course even the hill was not as bad as first thought. Will definitely do this again
In full: Great little race, very smooth organisation would definitely do it again and the free tea and cakes afterwards was very welcome.

In short: Fantastic race - thoroughly enjoyed myself even with the last couple of hills!
In full: Would definitely do this one again - marshalls, crowd & the organisation were excellent and of course Dame Kelly made it a very special day. It was my first time for this race and it really was my favourite of the year.

In short: Better weather conditions this year !! Plus a better HQ with good facilities
In full: Would definitely do this one again - the hills did not seem so bad this time around and it was good to go through the ford instead of around. The HQ was much better at the new venue with improved facilities.

In short: Fantastic as ever - this is my last marathon so it was great to go out on a good one
In full: Very hot so was not a great one for a pb this time round. The crowds were exceptional as ever and the atmosphere was electric - everything ran like clockwork and all the marshalls were superb. If I was going to do another marathon (which I am not!!) I would chose London to do it.

In short: Fantastic race, one of favourite races of the year and I managed my all time pb - awesome.
In full: As ever, the race was held during inclement weather but it did not dampen the enthusiasm of the spectators or the runners. It soon cleared up and the course was as great as I remembered. Will definitely be back but I am not sure I will be able to run it quite as quickly as I did this time round!! One little gripe - the parking this year was treacherous and I nearly came a cropper on the way out - last years arrangements were better even tho we had to walk a little way to the start - I'd rather that than get stuck in a muddy field.

In short: Fab race once again, great organisation, lovely scenery and the beer and cakes at the end were a nice touch. Great friendly atmosphere.
In full: This is my 4th time running this race and it gets better every year - bumper turnout on a beautiful November morning. Excellent organisation as usual although the start was delayed slightly due to the number of very late entrants. However, this did not mar what was a very good but testing race around the country roads of Beckley - this is probably one of my favourite races of the year. Will definitely be back.

In short: What a shame, what a great shame, it could have been soooooo much better
In full: No marshalls at the first major t-junction lead to a wrong turn by the front runners. Being in the leading pack and second lady at the time this proved to be a major problem as I had travelled a fair distance before the front of the pack realised and turned around. Then having to pick our way through a bunched up group of slow runners whilst trying to regain position was almost impossible but in doing so used up any residual energy I had. Added to this was the fact that there were no mile/kilometer markers - this is essential not only for seasoned runners but for newbies who have no real idea of distances and need accurate information to help them get round a fairly challenging course. My worry is that if the organisation is not sorted the regular runners will not attend again and the charity will suffer for it. This used to be one of my favourite 10k's but has unfortunately become one of my most disappoointing

In short: Fantantastic, challenging hills, hot, dusty and windy. There's nothing you can do about the weather but the scenery, organisation, water, lucozade, sponges, cakes, brass band etc were all brilliant!
In full: My best Bewl 15 so far (and I have done a few) I am obviously a glutton for punishment as it does not get any easier. A race that is in a league of it's own and deserves every accolade it receives. The water & lucozade stations were plentiful and gratefully received as was the great goody bag and fantastic medal at the end. Well done to all who organised such a wonderful race.
