In short: Come and get a PB to lift the spirits before London In full: Realistically had to take car to get there in time, but parking seemed very good. Special mention to race secretary as I only entered on line two days before and all was fine and my concerns promptly answered by email. Excellent, plentiful, clear marshalling. Very fast and flat with strong field. Date of review: April 3, 2010

In short: Thought I might get a PB - and did! In full: Set off through woods with 15 mins to start and got there with time to walk straight to front of start, warm up etc. OK, there was a bit of a shove at the start (maybe try the last-minute advance-to-the-start option), but I think those that followed the suggested timings, had no problem. My Garmin recorded it to be long (13.24m), but I guess that's preferable to being short and losing the PB! Great organisation round the course - clear roads and plentiful, friendly marshals and water points (thanks, all); and good support from the local community to keep a smile going when the energy's low. See you next year. Date of review: March 21, 2010

In short: Look forward to this every year In full: Beautiful scenery and the sun always seems to shine. The hills are challenging, and the surface uneven - more like a dry cross country. Lovely to run on the grass. Watch out for the deer crossing the route! Date of review: May 11, 2009
