In short: My legs feel as if they have been through a mangle.
In full: To see some reviews say "tough hills" is a bit too "Enid Blyton". To say pure suicidal torture would be more appropriate. I thought I was fit. I now know I am not. Can't wait for next year's!!

In short: Most enjoyable, even after shambles start!
In full: Well, just a couple of grips really. Please can the organisers send out the race numbers beforehand, which would negate the need for standing in a queue for half an hour in the cold waiting to collect your number. Also, 6 toilets for 1,000 is no way enough. Actual start was a bit "hit and miss", but the atmosphere, the lovely, friendly marshalls, the scenery, even the nasty hill past Piccards Farm and the sandy bit which felt like running through treacle was all worth it. Will definitely look forward to doing it next year.

In short: Beautiful scenery, some hills but nothing too challenging, excellent marshalling
In full: I've only been running 6 months and whilst this was my first 10K race and I was one of the last four to finish(!), I loved every minute of it. It was hilly in parts, but nothing too major - it was a very hot day and I think the heat beat me. Plenty of water stations and sponges and encouragement from the marshalls. Thank you to all that organised it. I will definitely be back next year!
