In short: What a race!
In full: This has got to be the best half i've ever done. Though the PB went out of the windowm after the first wine tastign stop. The weather was glorious scenery amazing and a definate for next year. Well done to everyone for making it a very enjoyable experience. The drinks stations were the best ever. I urger everyone to give this a go next year.

In short: Poor start but great too finish
In full: Ushered up to start way too early and got very cold waiting for the gun. I liked the way the pins were moved forward but it was way too soon. Not bad for first Kilomathon though. Great training distance for full marathon

In short: It gets better each year
In full: All too often we criticise run's so i'd like to compliment Birmingham for a fantastic event. The fact that i knocked three minutes off my PB say's it all. + atmosphere, course profile, organisiation, support. - pen allocation not followed causing lots of hold ups early on, scenery except Bournville Village, that last kilometre! All said and done all these comments and feedback will no doubt help the organisers improve this already fantastic event

In short: A very friendly, well organised race
In full: A good challenging course with a few short rises to test your legs. Marshalls were really supportive along the route as were those who manned the water stations. Although quite a testing course for the first timer my running partner did a PB so not that bad!

In full: Enjoyed the race, and having knocked 9 minutes off my PB i am very pleased. Would definately do it again. Good organisation and the weather helped. Bit of a stinker between miole 10 and 11 but a good dowhill strech afterwards to the finish

In short: Not bad for the first one!
In full: Found the start very difficult with slow runners and even some power walking which delayed my progress. Better segregation at the start required for 2009. I prefer a round and back course. Probably come back in 2009 as it is near to home and i ought to support it.
