In short: Great challenge, good chance you might get lost though!
In full: A fun challenging run, enough hills but luckily ended on flat/downhill. You're given 3 pages of detailed instructions as marshalls are limited (as are signs!) - I was lucky to be running near a Dunstable runner who knew the route (THANK YOU!)
Great food- sweets along the course and rolls and cakes at the finish.

In short: Great marshalls and goodie bag!!
In full: Lovely touch where marshalls call out your name as you run round, lots of energy from the helpers as well as the runners!
The laps helped ease the nerves as you knew what you were in for after the first one... didn't find it monotonous or repetitive as the scenery was nice through the trees and along the canal. Would definitely do this again as thought it was good value for money.

In short: Great fun, great post-Christmas run
In full: We chose to run in fancy dress and were pleased we weren't the only ones! Was the perfect distance following Christmas dinners etc. and the scenery was lovely. Good fun for all ages and abilities - a great family day out. Thanks!

In short: Great rural course, brilliant organisation and marshalls.
In full: Mix of hills and nice setting with encouraging marshalls en route, did PB although it's a fairly tough course in places. Liked being able to look up time and place at the end on the computer!

In short: Fast, lots of long flat stretches of country road, but hot weather!
In full: I really liked the fact that you were running a lot of very straight and flat stretches but I know others who find this boring - good if you want to try for a PB!

In short: Traffic was hell! But got a good PB so not complaining!
In full: Starting with the bad points-
Having to get into the city centre as opposed to parking outside (like Jaguar park last year) meant there was loads of traffic even tho we left plenty of time. In fact it was bad enough that they delayed the start time by 15mins. If that was bad, getting out of the car park was even worse!! I lost track of how long we were just sitting there not even moving. As for the course, the only real criticism is the mile markers. Noticable i don't think!!
On the positive side tho, the atmosphere was great and i liked the route especially through the park. And thank you to the band and spectators! I'd do it again..

In short: Good mix of hills (luckily more 'downs' towards the end!), great scenery aside from the estates. Would def do it again (tho i'll prefer it when it's not on new years eve itself..)
