In short: Beautiful Moorland Run
In full: One of my favourite runs of each year. Moorland ground; views fantastic this year with cold but clear weather. Good, friendly organisation and atmosphere. Thanks to the marshalls and rescue teams.

In short: Friendly race, flat course.
In full: Course is pretty flat and scenic in places; except for the bit around the industrial estate. Marshalls on route were as terrific and as encouraging as last year. Many thanks. Just one niggle. The first comment I got when crossing the finishing line was one of the race organisers moaning at me for wearing an IPOD. Would have happily have left it in the car (parked ten minutes walk away)if we weren't told about the ban just 30 seconds before the start. If that's the policy for the future then so be it; but a bit of advance warning would be grand.

In short: One of the more tiring half marathons I've done but well worth doing.
In full: A great race. Pretty up and down and rough underfoot in places. Reminded me of the Stanstead Slog. Lovely countryside and marshalls did a great job. The extra drink stations put in I assume because of the heat were very welcome.

In short: Well organised, friendly, scenic but hard half marathon
In full: Beautiful course although lots of ups and downs, so it was one of the harder of the half marathons I have done. Friendly marshalls and a well organised event. A few mile markers would have been helpful. Family had a good time in the grounds whilst I did the run.

In short: Great location and scenery, and friendly organisation and crowds at the finish. Long slow climb to start with followed by a downhill and a further shorter climb at 7k.
