In short: Lovely woodland run.
In full: The start was a tad fast for my legs, but finally caught the optimistic ones. A lovely route, even though i generally hate multi lap races. A very warm day, but a nice morning.

In short: quiet and hilly
In full: A pleasing sunday run, the warm sun was ok, plenty of water stations. The hills were steeper than i had thought, but over came them without too much hassle.

In short: Can we have rain next year
In full: Very good start, was expecting a lot more people so it was good to find we were up and running pretty quick, even if was up the first of many hills. Didn't mind the hills as done quite a bit of hill training in readiness for Windsor, which didn't happen.
Didn't reallylike the long country lane, was very quiet and long. The heat was a big factor but the water stops were great. Made a consious effort to thank the marshalls on the way round. See you next year.

In short: mind the bin bags :)
In full: Once the i passed the start, and avoided all the bin bags, i had a great run. Hills were ok, maybe a little steeper than expected but no real problem. Water stations were a little congested but nice to see Lucozade and extra vasoline just in case. Didn't get a PB but really enjoyed the run, apart from the last mile and half. Tease us with the stadium, then run away from it. See you next year.

In short: legs had wings today
In full: lovely sunday run in the rain. Small gathering, had visions of being last, but run well with a lady whom joined me. We aimed for an hour but the course was fast so we clocked just under the hour, rain held of right up until the last k then the heavens opened. Only negative was the water station was unable to get my hands to a cup.

In short: Hot, hilly and one to remember
In full: Standing at the start, sweating already, so i knew the heat was maybe going to be a problem. Someone said it was undulating, but blimey i habe to admit to finding it very tough but made ten miles before i had to accept a small session of walking, but i ran for a count then walked. Very quiet in parts but love the crowds on the start of the second lap and the finish. Possibly see you next year.

In short: First half in 13 years
In full: I first run this about 3 years ago, and i run it about ten minutes slower, seeing as im a few pounds heavier, i was quite pleased. Good enjoyable run, plenty of water, and decent support most of the way round. Whoever put that short sharp shock near the end needs shooting. See ya in Windsor.
