In full: Start of race very difficult, very slow with tight turns & obstacles in the way. Flat course with potential for a PB if you were on start line & could get past push chairs & day trippers on the prom.

In short: Wet & muddy but enjoyable
In full: This was my first 10k & despite the weather & lots of mud I got a faster time than expected. Will definately be back next year.

In short: The heat was a killer,
In full: Organisation was very good, marshalls were brilliant & really lifted my spirit with their encouragement. The temperature put pay to any ideas of a PB. The villagers of Marlingford were brilliant with their sprinklers and need to be thanked. All in all it was a good day, however, the finishers T-shirts were handed out before the race began, and I have to say are really naff, a medal would have been better.
