In short: Really enjoyed it. The support was great.
In full: Wasn't sure what to expect having never done a multi lap half marathon before but really enjoyed the day. I think I was lucky as the organisation worked like clockwork for me which made the whole day so much more enjoyable.

In short: First ever marathon and loved it!
In full: I have no reference as this was my 1st ever marathon but I thought it was great. The crowds were brilliant and really helped when I started to struggle. The Power Station section was like hell on earth but I survived and the sensation finishing was like nothing I have experienced in any other sports events I have been involved in. Only downside for me was the climb up the stairs at the end but thats nothing really

In short: Smashed my PB by 13mins.
In full: Thought the new route worked better as you get the long drags out of the way earlier.

In short: Great Organisation and Occasion
In full: Well organised event again and took a lot of learning from last years comments. Personal nightmare when I got a calf strain at 7 miles which blew my PB chances to bits but this is definetly the place for PB's. Only minor critism is th ewater stations. Water in bottles would be so much better than cups but appreciate the costs involved.

In short: Great location if a little challenging in places
In full: What an alternative half marathon! I had only ever done city half's before and this was something really different. I really enjoyed (most of) it but found the cross country section really tough. Once on the beach it was fab, but getting on to and off of the beach was horrible and ultimately I suffered for setting of a bit to quickly. Organisation was 1st class.

In short: Really enjoyed the run, if a little cold
In full: My first official 10K and really enjoyed it. the run had good variation of hills and flats which kept me thinking. Great family day out with the roam of the park thrown in.

In short: My first half marathon and it hasn't put me off running.
In full: Enjoyed it on the whole and ran a better time than I expected. Only negative for me was the exit at the finish. After 13.1 miles I didn't expect to have to fight to get out from the finish area.
