In short: Very well organised. In full: We had a really great day. Staggered start worked well, and there were no hold ups. The new route showed off edinburgh well, rather than the traditional East Lothian route. Enjoyed the Scottish national anthem at the start (very American).
Had to queue a while to get my bag at the end, and there were lots of people in the wrong queue on the saturday when registering. But they were very minor points that didn't detract from the overall event. Date of review: April 16, 2012

In short: Very well organised. Something a bit different, but crowded. In full: It was great fun and I would do it again, but there are far too many people for the course. The scree slope became a very slow walk in a queue and you have to queue for most of the obstacles. They should look at a staggered start as everyone gets chips. I'll be back next year.
