In short: Don't belive that Cambridge is flat
In full: We read the previous reviews and went along expecting to see a shambles...... We didn't. The race was well organised with a wonderful atmosphere at the back (may have been at the front too but we never see that bit). The course was only just multi terrain but if the weather went bad there would be some interesting sections. Only a couple of suggestions:
1. Start it a bit earlier
2. The drinks at the half way point were on the ground and a little difficult to get down and back up to.
I would definitely recommend it as a first time multi terrain marathon, Thank you to the Organisers for an enjoyable afternoon.

In short: Very slippy at the back
In full: Probably slippy at the front too. Good fun where ever you are. I would like to have got a bit closer to Fort 2 though.

In short: Gentelay undulating all very runable
In full: One of the dryest years I have done it (prefer it wetter) the marshals were wounderfull and all bar 2 of the caddets were offering encoragement. The only slight issue was the lack of water at the finish. I will be back with hopefully more water every where (especialy on the course)

In short: On the whole a good fun run (could do with being 10 miles though)
In full: The event could only have been improved by a better pa system (or pa operator, the feed back and volume was not good) and during the 2 mins silence the only sound was the slamming doors of the portaloos (that detracted from the poinientcy of the silence).

On the whole a big thank you to the organisers

In short: Hills hills and more hills (and some mud too)
In full: If you don't like hills this is not for you, great race and very taxing mentally and physically. My only criticism is it could do with more water stations (not that there is many flat places to put them).

In short: Good fun with some nice people
In full: From a personal veiw I would have prefered a bit more mud, and Iam sure that the tide had gone out from some of the puddles (They claimed the short and the unweary last year). A fun race, however it could have done witha marshal by the water jump on the return journy (or the taped barrier lengthened when exiting water) as I did see the group in front of me start to go the wrong way. Thank you to the organisers and Marshals (especialy the ones that smiled (I guess it ain't cool to smile at present))
