In short: really enjoyed it.
In full: I found it too warm and I didn't like the hills but not alot i could do about that! Got there earlier enough for a good parking space. marshalls & spectators were really encouraging. Sponge & water stations still had water by the time i got to them. Jelly baby station was a good idea. I found the finish area a bit chaotic. Only found the water table after I had bought some. Would like to do it again but will include more hill training sessions next time.

In short: what a sight! 100 + santas enjoying themselves - great fun
In full: My first race where is hasn't rained....did on the way home though. It was nice to see so many people running around my local training circuit. What a sight. It was a very friendly race, nothing too strenuous or competive and all in a good cause. The organisation could do with some improvement but it didn't spoil the day and now i have my very own Santa suit!!! Had lots of waves & horn honking on out walk home afterwards - that made my day.

In short: weather was horrible
In full: this was my first 10k race so had high expectations (of myself) but the weather, and especially the wind was horrible. Everyone was friendly and even the locals stood around to cheer us on. Had trouble finding the main car park but the mini buses were a good idea. It was difficult to hear the marshall at the start but personally that wasn;t a problem for me. I just followed the crowd.
