In short: Rubbish organisation - learn from your mistakes!
In full: 1. Not posting race packs?? Why not?
2. Last year the queue for picking up the numbers & chips was around the track - so to avoid this runners are advised to arrive early - "Arrive by 9.00" - this would suryl mean the car parks were avaialble before 9.00 wouldnt it? Wrong. I was in a queue of cars at 9.00 waiting for marshals to get there and open it, the road was a cul-de-sac and the poor residence were trapped unable to get out because of the queue - one was a nurse.
This coupled with the thought in my mind of a big queue to get my number (because we are now going to get to the venue late) caused me to give this up as a bad joke. I will spend my money elsewhere next year.

In short: Fast Fast Fast, but boring.
In full: The start, and several other places too narrow. The airfield was a bit dull, especially for the 4th time! But, if you want a new pb and dont care about whats going on around you this is a must.

In short: A very well organised race
In full: My first 5 miler - good route through the country lanes. nice and flat (tiny little rise at 3m) and a great finish mile.

I line the fact that they closed off the road at the start/finish. Also the signs to find the race were brill if you dont know the area.

In short: A great varied 3 lap race. Great if you like laps
In full: A good race ran in and around the northern outskirts of Luton. It starts off in the subberbs and quickly leaves these and heads out in the the countryside. A few easy hills and you are then on a gradual downhill all the way to the finish. Then off you go again 2 more times.
The best marshalling i have ever experienced, especially considering the awful weather (horrizontal rain and strong winds).

In short: Sunny, Fast and marshalled brilliantly
In full: A very quick course - flat as a pancake. The 2 laps make pacing easy and the seaside location make it great for the family as well.
Great support from the marshals and a great atmosphere overall.
Broke my 1/2m PB by 15 minutes!

In short: Poor organisation, narrow paths and no medal
In full: The race started half an hour late, parking was a joke, the start was poorly(if at all) signposted, the only way i found it was to follow the others. The paths were very narrow making overtaking difficult if 2 runners were running next to each other, and to top it all - no medal, or any other momento at the finish - unless you count the race number.
The only reason why i "Might" do it again is that i live 10 minutes from the venue.
