In short: I’d certainly recommend anybody try this event at least once.
In full: It's a good if you're after a big/busy event. The scenery might not be the best but the atmosphere pretty much all-round the course is really very good (I'm sure even better in normal weather conditions) and there are only a couple of hills to climb. Finishing into the stadium really gave me (& my spectating wife) a real buzz to leave the event with.
On the negative side, at £31 entry I'd expect a T-shirt or memento along with the average medal awarded. Would also be good if the final 3 miles could be reviewed somehow, running two miles on duel carriageway up to the stadium door, then taking a dog-leg right for half a mile, u-turn back to where you were a mile ago is a bit of a shame (though obviously soon forgotten as you enter the stadium to mass applause).

In short: Good busy event, but poor value for money
In full: Good event definately worth trying, but too many people in the available space & queues.
Shocked to find that despite £39 entry, all the finishers T-shirts were 'Large only'. To small for me & too big for my wife.

In short: 3rd year in row & I'll be back for the 4th :-)
In full: Very enjoyable event despite 'the hill', it somehow suprised me yet again this year... When will I learn to save something for the hill?

In short: 2nd year I've done it & I'll be back next time too!
In full: Very good race/day. One to bring the whole family along.
Only slight down side was the course still being short of the advertised 5m (despite being lengthened this year)...
Recommend trying this one out.

In short: Good Midweek Run
In full: Nice route with plenty of ups & downs all the way, but managed to break my PB, so chuffed with that.
My only grumble I can think of about the whole event, was the amount of cars going down the country lanes. It was quite surprising. But certainly not enough to put me off & I hope to be back next year.

In short: Well organised, loads of marshals, flat course.
In full: 1st 6 miles were tough into the wind, but once 'that corner' was turned, it was happy days. Managed to knock 8 minutes of my PB, so it must be an easy course!
I marked it lower on beginner friendliness because in the race info, it says the course is only open for 2.5 hours, which I think would put of some beginners.
Good race, see you next year.

In short: Decent small event worth doing
In full: Very good value event, with a T-shirt, banana & water waiting as a reward at the end. Why do other event fail to meet that standard for much higher entry fees?

Some of the marshals were doing an excellent job of marshaling (keeping runners safe & showing encouragement), a couple of them on important junctions were maybe busy thinking about something else?

Good crowd support at the start/middle/end point.
