In short: Too many people for the course
In full: The course needs reviewed. The first km was bottlenecks and walking. Even after 3km there were still places where the course narrowed to 6-abreast with 10-abreast failing to squeeze in. That's the reason for my poor score for PB potential - unless your PB was set at walking pace then forget it. That said, my official time is 30-seconds quicker than my stopwatch time ... odd.
