In short: Excellent organisation, like clockwork
In full: Being fairly new to races how much am I allowed to ignore race results and follow my Garmin time? This race had chip timing but only at the finish and it took me 26 seconds to cross the start - vital in deciding whether its an under the hour 10k PB or not?!
Will have to follow my heart on that one!

Thanks for friendly marshalls, smooth baggage drop and NO ques for ladies loos - all in all a perfect set of firsts!

In short: St Georges Day - a fitting celebration!
In full: Earlier in the year than 2007 but still a glorious eve of running, they caught the sun in a really pretty early eve race of hills and lakes. Superb marshalls, professional timings and all finishers presented with red roses and medals, this race would put many larger races to shame with its smooth and friendly organisation. Traffic still stationary on M4 though!
We will be back next year!
Thanks BA!

In short: Excellent charity race - friendly & fun
In full: All good components of a professional race for a charity were here and overall it was well planned - especially as they had to change venue at last minute. Didn't mind about the hilly and rather puddly course that just added to the experience.
Did mind about the lack of reliable Km markings, and the lack of finish clock. Plus my garmin and a friends made the course short by 550m. No wonder I ran a PB!

In short: Delivered what it advertised
In full: My first 10K and I wanted to make sure my intro into a longer race was well organised with KM markings, a straigtforward, well marked course, water and easy parking. This race does all of that and has very friendly marshalls, good organisation, excellent chip timings and I was thrilled with my bronze medal! Thanks to organisers - good show!

In short: Curious mix of inspiring running highs and organisational lows -
In full: I expected orgainsational shamboles and mostly it was - race packs only arrived 5 days before race with wrong t-shirt, no signs anywhere to help find way around, help desk with no staff, race started 5 min early and caught everyone by surprise, no km markings up at all for 5k race and an anti climatic finish with no idea where to go after for medal or goodie bag. Back to Help Desk it turned out, luckily now with staff!

On the positive side I got sent the 10K t-shirt as consilation and its nicer than the 5k one, everyone was incredilby friendly, my sister was running for Rainbow Trust and we used their fab facilities in Hotel, running on roads normally choked in cars was a great experience especially by Big Ben, the spitfire plane, DJ and piped "I Vow to thee my Country" inspired amazing sprint finishes, and finally when we found it the medal was funky and fun!
Great morning out with a friend for the experience but not one to be tackled on your own.

In short: Get to feel smug running past stationary M4 lorries on a Wed eve!
In full: Very friendly and welcoming race. Excellent course even if those unexpected hills were a surprise to the calves! Liked the abundance of cheery marshalls, the mars bar at the finish and friendly young boy handing out the medals at the end. More advertising needed and get a bigger crowd in as you certainly deserve it. Lovely eve race. thanks

In short: Bushy Park is just a great place to run!
In full: Lovely morning for running a very scenic and well organised race. Clear, well signed and measured course, lots of support from enthusiastic marshalls at all the junctions and at the finish. My husband rode a 120 mile bike race today but I returned with the better medal (his was all thin and plastic this one was very good quality - thanks!)

In short: Only way to start my weekend.
In full: As a 2006 new runner this stills makes me feel good about myself, week in week out whatever the weather as its just about you and your PB. Plus even though I run 5k in 32min I am above Sonia O'Sullivan in the overall rankings! What a moral booster! Get up and give it a go!
