In short: No real complaints
In full: Overall a good race.
Would like to have had a baggage store.
Thought the finish could have been better as I felt a bit abandoned after crossing the line.
The no frills approach has a certain charm of its own and is about running not poseing which I find at bigger events.

In short: Good day out with pb potential
In full: Given the amount of other sport on TV the crowd support was brilliant. Well marshelled with plenty of water stations with choice of drinks. Accessing the start was a bit chaotic and the first mile is a bit cramped but otherwise a really great race.

In short: Fast and flat
In full: Second go on this course so knew roughly what to expect. Fast and flat giving good PB potential. Didn't have time to notice the scenery. Could have done with more toilets which could have been sited on the otherside so you didn't have to cross the traffic entering the site a minor gripe in what was otherwise a good event. Still got my chocs!

In short: Well worth the effort of getting there
In full: Great race with a good mix of hills etc. Liked the sponges, better than chucking water over youirself. The chat on the way round was good along with the signs of encouragement. Marshelling on route was superb making up for the start. Crowds were great and will hope to be back next year.

In short: Twisty yet can still be fast
In full: The weather was perfect, the crowds encouraging and inspite of having more twists than a modern thriller quite a fast race giving me my first sub 40. Only gripe was at the end when I didn't get zapped straight away so I expect my official time might be just outside 40 mins but I know I did it and thats good enough for me. Will have another bash next year if I have the time.

In short: Great race with tons of PB potential
In full: Having started the day pessimisticaly with the weather and wishing that I had trained harder beforehand, was very surprised to better my PB by a minute. Organisation was excellent well done Alchester.

In short: Great race for a leisurely day out with plenty of time to spare before leaving
In full: Realy enjoyed this again. Beat last years pb by 20 sececonds inspite of injuries this season. Conned my freind into doing this as his first HM so wasn't able to leave until quite late taking 30 mins to leave the carpark. Organisers excelled themselves with giving out the race packs so its a shame that thay are unable to organise more toilets and a secure bag drop.

In short: nice race shame about the organisation
In full: The race itself was good, loved the hill in the 9th mile!
However, after having been misdirected by a steward when I first arrived and being unable to find the promised bag store, I still managed to make the start inspite of the queues for the toilets. Hope it's sorted out for next year.

In short: Enjoyable race would go again
In full: Start not easy to find for a first timer but found it in the end before everyone else turned up. Race started well and soon found comfortable space to run in exceeding expected pace. Well martialled but could have done with an extra drinks station. Loved the finish.
