In short: Hill was not that bad
In full: Its a good course but is narrow in places, this slowed us all down a bit at the start with 2,000 entries but no problem later on. Nice course and some welcome support on the way around. Organisation was good but would like to see sponges like that had at Alice Holt as these are fantastic to keep you cool. Great goodies at the finish!

In short: Challenging hilly bits but great scenery and well organised
In full: Markers at the start to indicate where you should begin based on your expected time were missing this year but extra water station more than made up for this. Great run and nice atmophere.

In short: Very very hilly - At 8 miles just wanted it to end
In full: Could have made it easier for my first 10 miler but was nice and close to home. Very hilly throughout the race including gentle slope for last mile to the finish which killed me. Will probably do next year as I had to walk in places which upset me with the amount of training I had done. Large field but very well organised (No finishers medal!!!).

In short: Well organised, expensive for 10k but excellent PB potential
In full: Very hot but nice flat course made for a personal PB. Very well organised and chip timed but at £17 was expensive for a 10km.

In short: Very undulating, quite steep in places but good for building endurance
In full: Running a very muddy lap of football club at the start not fun, ending with another lap to make up distance very demotivating. Might return but not fantastic and difficult to get parking close to race start.

In short: One difficult hill at 7km which beats many, Scenic and challenging
In full: First trail race, one long hill and several shorter steeper sections, very scenic and nice to run in. Results posted next day on the web. Generally well organised but took almost as long to get out of the car park at the end as I did to run the race.
