In short: Dismal organisation, could be so good.
In full: No timing chip or baggage label arrived at all, despite chasing. 40 mins to get to start then a physical battle through the walkers, strollers etc - apologies to all who I elbowed on the way through! (Could be so easily fixed with timing pens.) Loos at narrowest part of course meant everyone had to walk, too few people handing out water (and poor sign[posting of water stations), shambolic luggage area, too few medals - basically the organisers couldn't have fot it more wrong from start to finish. Oh, and the highest entry fee I've come across for a 10k.

It could be so good - just look at the phenomenal London Marathon organisation and every other event!

In short: Dull but quick - and where were running clubs?
In full: Weird, I've never run a 10k before where there seemed to be no running clubs represented.

Had weather been as bad as forecast, being a ble to stay in the dry in Mercedes World would have been invaluable.

In short: Good but shame about mile markers
In full: Good organisation, start/finish area and facilities. Mile markers a problem - slowed up after a supposedly sub-6 min second mile, more like 3/4 mile I think.

In short: Varied and enjoyable
In full: Good venue for start and finish in Priory Park, plenty of other things going on.
Well marshalled.
Course has serious ups and downs but PB somehow!

In short: Very friendly race
In full: Very friendly since most people preapring for marathon - most chatting I have come across in a race! Scenic, flat course, just slight bump near end. Marshalls very supportive good water/squash stations.
End a bit tight and rushed. Run-off space required.

In short: What happened to timing?
In full: First half-marathon, think I enjoyed it, organisation worked (but I could walk to start). I assume the chip timing didn't work at the start/finish line (wherever the latter was) since official times were over 1 minute too great - a bit discouraging. Marshalls were supportive when needed.

In short: My perfect race!
In full: Great setting, great facilities, varied and interesting course. Congratulations and many thanks to Graeme and his team for making it so smooth, especially considering the weather leading up to the race on Sunday; I though there was a good chance of it being cancelled because of fallen trees nad such-like.

In short: Fast but boring
In full: Don't undersatnd comments re markers - saw all but one. Also no point in water station. Scenery is good but unchanging (sea and more sea) but it is a good large field and potentially quick.

In short: Good, straightforward road race
In full: Seemed to be a lot of club runners at the (slightly shambolic) start but not threatening to non-club runners when we got going!

Didn't know we'd started until people started moving but end was well organised. T shirt unlikely to be worn.
