In short: Great event with PB potential. Excellent organisation with friendly and encouraging marshalss and helpers. Really enjoyed this event
In full: Too often people only comment when they are complaining, so I just wanted to say a big thank you and well done to everyone involved in the organisation of this race. As an experienced runner, the logistics of such events are often taken for granted, so when one is done particularly well it is noticeable and should be commended. I already think that this will be a firm favourite in the running calendar. Points to note include: friendly and encouraging marshals all the way around, including the car park attendant and lady on the door to the registration being so welcoming, plenty of water stops with lots of keen helpers, distance markers for the miles and key milestones and the fantastic finish in the stadium but most importantly the safety information and details of the route before the start. This event was just as offered, as we know from recent (Hull marathon) experience this is not always the case, plus that bit extra of personal touch.

Well done and I look forward to next year’s event.

In short: Excellent organisation, fantastic event
In full: Absolutely brillant that a small club can organise superbly such a fantastic race. The weaqther was perfect and the undulating course made for a challenging event, but still with PB potential if you like the ups and downs. The atmosphere was very friendly and everyone seemed to go away with a smile on their face. The spot prizes were a real bonus.

In short: Fantastic scenary, challenging course with a gruelling hill at half way. Good long sleeve t-shirt for finishers and goodie bag
In full: Lovely countryside, but a challenging course and not one for a PB. Everyone was huffing by two miles after a climb. Steep inclines with most walking up the hill at half way and down hill at 8/9 mile along old roman raod hard on feet and ankles.

In short: Well marshalled, friendly club run
In full: Despite the rain, the atmosphere was quite jovial. Liked the loop past the start again - good for specators. Dreaded hill wasnt too bad, and down hills made for quick times. A PB for me. Well marshalled and supported by police. A friendly club atmsophere. Quite a few unattahced, but some very quick finishing times - especially the winning men.
