In short: Lovely low key event In full: really enjoyed my morning in Ham Street. It had such a nice villagy feel about it, and a surprisingly small field of runners. Organisation was excellent, marshals were enthusiastic and a really warm welcome for us when we arrived back at the village green. Really enjoyed watching the kids race, and talking to the scout leader. Thanks to Ham Street Primary school for the bag, which got it's first use on the way home during n impromptu supermarket stop. In short: Nice race, just needs some fine tuning In full: Well done HOKH, very nice race. Nice to be on a traffic free course, and your marshals were friendly and encouraging. What I would suggest is making the finish more obvious, I saw someone go the wrong way when I was starting my final lap. Also think about stretching the finish out, everything felt very cramped. Jelly beans were great, but maybe have them out on the course - they would be more useful there for an energy boost. All small things, but make a difference. Shooterz photos were great, but apparently there was another photographer there and I've not seen their photos. Also not found the results yet. Good work though, keep it up and don't be afraid to look towards your local running club for help. Date of review: June 22, 2014
In short: Everything is awesome In full: superb event. Well done for putting on such a brilliant event. Challenging course, particularly in the heat, but the support en route was excellent with plenty of water and jelly babies, and even the occasional shower. More than happy with the medal, t shirt and bag. Felt pampered at the finish with the friendly handshake, coffee and cakes and loads of fruit. Nobody puts on a race like a good running club.

In short: slick organisation, superb support In full: really well organised event. Felt really safe throughout as roads were closed for us. Awesome support at Leigh. This is the model for Town half marathons.
In short: my favourite race of the year, awesome event In full: I love this race. Really challenging, beautiful scenery, enthusiastic marshals, but most importantly a fantastic coffee and walnut cake washed down with a fine local ale. What's not to like? Date of review: September 8, 2013
In short: superb organisation and very friendly race In full: Well done Kent Roadrunners. I was very dubious about how interesting a 17 lap course would be, but it was great. Particularly appreciated the availability of sports drinks and jellies, and the option of having your own drinks set up on the course. Date of review: June 1, 2013
In short: Someone must have been out with a hose. In full: Another brilliant event. One of my few must do events Special thanks to Jason from Tunbridge Wells Harriers for keeping me going for the last few miles Date of review: September 9, 2012
In short: Very friendly, well organised event. In full: I knew it was going to be hilly, and having done Canterbury and Bewl this summer I felt ready for them. Beautiful location , very well marshalled and water at all the right places. My first time at this event, and I will definately be back. Liked the shoe bag, I've got way too many medals. Interesting to hear whinges about goody bags and catering. When I started running it was enough to have a marshalled course, water and a medal at the end. There seem to be some very high expectations these days regarding extras. Date of review: July 12, 2010
