In short: The quotes from the race organiser about fun runners and slow runners made my blood boil. Nothing fun about completing a26.2 miles in that heat.
In full: They ran out of water. They won't admit it. They knew it would be hot and should have prepared for the "fun runners, and slow runners" anyone taking over 4 hours potentially could have suffered. Shocking!

In short: Good fun, will be back in 2009
In full: The only dissapointment for me as in 2007 was the lack of music at the start. 2006 had thumping music and it was great. Once across the start line that was forgotton and the rest was brilliant. I think the course had changed a bit from last year and it had lots of fast downhills and flats that gave the opportunity for a good blast of speed. This coupled with the tough uphills and water made for a brilliant fun race.

In short: The course itself was great. The atmosphere was dull after last year due to a change in style. Last year we had a DJ and good music that got everyone jumping at the start. No devil on a quad and no She Devil in Fish Nets.
In full: Can't fault the organisation or the course but the Devil on Stilts, the Devil on a Quad bike, the She Devil in Stockings and the smoke bombs and thumping music at the start really made it something special last year. This was all missing this year which was a real shame. I will be back next year though.

In short: Well organised, and a nice paperweight for finishing which made a nice change from a medal
