In short: I missed the hog roast!
In full: Excellent race overall, no real complaints although I do have a gripe about the sponge stations. The new system was put in place for hygiene reasons. Previously each person gets a new sponge then bins it. This year, sponges are re-used numerous times...fine, if you are at the front of the pack. Those at the back ended up dunking their sponge in a bucket of sweat and water! :)

Lots of locals out cheering etc, marshalls all did an excellent job - Thought the race had a real community feel about it.

Again this year I jogged the short distance home and then realised I had forgotton about the free hog roast! Next year, next year!

Well done to everyone involved, and thanks! :)

In short: NICE!
In full: Overall a great race, especially family friendly with the ½,1,3m fun runs which our kids really enjoyed, also a magic show and bouncy castle plus a variety of refreshments for the rest of the family whilst I did the 10mile. ALl the marshalls were great, very happy and encouraging which always helps loads.

Well done to everyone involved!

In short: Just needs a little polish!
In full: I enjoyed this race in general, well done to everyone involved in organisation.

Just a couple of small probs:

It was a hot day for running - Definatley could have used an additional water station.

Also, I spoke briefly to the lady taking the numbers down as they passed the lines to get my time - I was told no times are being recorded, which I hope is wrong - I'm keeping an eye on the website for results.

If times were not recorded - Not good at all!

In short: Hilly!
In full: Quite a few hills on this one, although amazing scenery and near on perfect running weather more than made up for them, as did the t-shirt, medal, tea & bun at the end - Excellent value for money, very well organised.

In full: Really enjoyed every minute of this one (Yup! Every Minute!) Fantastic organization, marshals and crowd were plentiful and supportive, friendly runners, great atmosphere. Probably a decent chance of a PB - It is udulating but nothing to worry about. I will be back for this one next year, and the year after, and the... :o)

In short: Another cracker this year! Almost as hot as 2006 tho!
In full: This was my 2nd go at the Poole 10km. Again I really enjoyed it, probably more than 2006 as I had only been running a few months at the time! Good crowd, excellent organization. Nicer t-shirt than last year too! :o)

In short: The pack leaders were sent the wrong way!! :-(
In full: Thankfully, I was not one of the few at the front who were sent the wrong way and ended up doing 12km (So I heard from a few people!). That said, great race, good atmosphere all for Charity too! This years was awful weather wise - very exposed course so made it interesting, and the cup of tea + mars bar at the end was oh-so-welcome! Nice to be given a medal at the end, managed a PB myself, even with the conditions. Well done to all involved! (Apart from my Sister who was supposed to be catching me at the finish for a photo, but instead got lost some where in Lymington!) :) LOL!

In short: My first duathlon...was Ok! :-)
In full: I'm probably not the best person to ask about this, as I developed knee pain after the cycle, didnt train hard enough, and managed to come last....even so I got a nice clap and cheer as I finished (DId someone whisper 'Thank Gawd! We can finally pack up and go home!'
Well organised, seemed to go smoothly, could perhaps of done with some more signage on the longer roads??
