In short: In reverse order, great selection of cakes at the finish, showers a bit basic although I did get to use the one producing hot water, good course, undulating but 'fair', well organised and attracted a good number of runners which speaks for it self.

In short: Recommended by a friend who ran last year, this is a race that I would definately recommend good organisation, great views, challenging course and a hot shower at the end a great addition to the local race calender.

In short: Second time I've reviewed this race, weather an improvement on last year could actually see the scenery which was good and helped with the route finding.
In full: A good well organised race over difficult terrain, a big thanks to the marshals sat out on top of the tors in cold and windy conditions and to whoever sets the course a definite labour of love (the route is marked with tape every 50 -100 meters across the moor). The only comment I would make about the organisation is that it would be good if the results were available on the internet perhaps using one of the local running club sites.Otherwise well done to all concerned.

In short: A less than impressive start, in a narrow side street but aside from this by local standards a reasonably if not totally flat course with good scenery on the return back along the Tarka trail.

In short: Changing rooms a definite improvement on last year, last hill never gets any easier, thanks to the marshals particularly for their management of traffic at the busier junctions.

In short: Tough ,a few 'good' hills, mud and water mixed in with a short road section and part of the Tarka trail, goody bag at the end made a change from the usual t-shirt.Cold showers sorted out the sweat !

In short: A reasonably flat scenic route in Devon, good organisation, well marshalled, nice finish alongside the river and finishes at a pub.

In short: One of my favourite races, well supported, good value, and somehow the organisers seem to have struck a deal with who ever controls the weather in this part of the country.
