In short: The fantastic scenery takes your mind off the climbs and wind!
In full: Very well organised event that the whole community seem to get involved in. Its easy to see why this sells out so quickly!!

In short: Excellent event!
In full: Fantastic scenery, well marshalled, lots of support and plenty of water stations. Free swim/sauna and soup/sandwiches afterwards was much appreciated. Organisation of the whole event was fantastic. The only downside of this race was the hills!!

In short: Lovely but challenging route!
In full: As others have said somethings need improved -signs directing you in and out (other than to car park) of main area, pulse/colour coded start needs to be better controlled, lights on in the toilet block would be nice too.
It was a nice run, could've done without Hawes Brae though!

In short: Fantastic-again!
In full: The scenery and support are fantastic, as is the route if a little challenging! I dont think you could get a better location for a half.

In short: Excellent-again!
In full: Organisation, atmosphere and value fantastic as always, the goody bag keeps on getting better! First time of doing the half which was tough but far more scenic than the 10k.

In short: Excellent race-again!
In full: Another well organised race and an absoloute bargain, dont think I will ever get bored of doing this run. Anyone who likes to make a weekend out of a race should try this. On a negative note I dont think there was any benefit to using timing chips that were not used to their full potential.

In short: Nice day for a good run.
In full: This race is for all women, everyone is encouraged by the crowds.
Thanks to the Red Cross lady at the 8k mark, your encouragement was very entertaining, just what you need when your getting tired!!

In short: Good bits and not so good bits but I will do it again next year (10k)
In full: T.Shirt and goody bag not up to much but running over the Kingston Bridge kind of makes you feel like your getting value for money! Nice course and not too difficult. Good atmosphere and friendly support from spectators, fellow participants and marshalls.
