In short: Lovely race, lovely atmosphere
In full: Had a lovely run here today. I ran with my friend (her first 10k) and, bless her, she has had a rotten cold all week and wasnt' feeling her best. We walked up that nasty hill at 7k and came in 552 and 553 out of 563, so not far off being last! Great marshalls, lovely scenery and great organisation. The only complaint (and this is no reflection on the race organisers at all) is that the car park became very muddy and many cars were getting stopped - and also some spectators were disinclined to give way to others coming out of the car park (old man in green Rover, you know who you are). Will be back next year all being well!

In short: Lovely run, just not enough hill training!
In full: Would definitely do again and would recommend to others, but make sure you train for the first 2k hill. 2-3k is nice and downhill, back up to 4k and then down from there to the finish.

In short: Beautiful scenery, friendly race but 'Cardiac Hill' not mentioned in the blurb!
In full: Did this yesterday, really warm morning, good organisation but ran out of water just after I staggered in (1:06). Beautiful scenery though, friendly marshalls and local house playing 'Chariots of Fire' as you ran past made me giggle, but that quickly died when I saw the hill. Two mile downhill to finish was welcome after that bad boy!
