In short: Sunny river run
In full: A very enjoyable race with lovely support, thanks to all the cheery marshals. Only down side was not enough toilets but they know this so lesson learnt.
Also a runner fell along the river stretch and no marshal/medical person was close enough to come and help that we were aware of. There needs to be more along that stretch as one at each bridge didn't allow for any assistance for the injured runner. Thankfully it was just a cut knee on this occasion but it could have been worse.

Liked the pint glass for finishing!

In short: An Eagle Eyed view
In full: I ran the first ever Ealing Half Marathon as an Ealing Eagle yesterday so although I'm probably biased, I do have over 40 odd races under my belt so can see it from a runners point of view.

The organisation was amazing, I will never underestimate the work that goes into a race again after seeing over a years work from the EHM team come together. You did an amazing job.

The course was hilly and quite tough but a great challenge. Who wants to always take the easy route!?!? Where is the fun in that?

From start to finish I had a great run, it was amazing to run your home town and have all the people out from their houses clapping you on, playing music and forming cheer squads. A real community event. The finish in the parks was a true highlight for me and the last 400m brought me back to the cheering crowds of the VLM and an experience I never thought I would relive, but I did.

In a gorgeous little park in Ealing West London, something pretty impressive happened yesterday in my humble opinion and I'll be back along with many, many others.

Thanks EHM team.

In short: NIce and easy does it.
In full: Liked this one even though it was odd runing a race on roads open to traffic. Managed not to get squished and enjoyed most of the route.
Good PB potential and will enter again next year.

Marshalling good, odd start, nice medal and loved the Lindor chocholate egg at the end. Who needs a banana when there is free chocolate!!

In full: Loved it! First marathon and it was better than I expected. The crowds are unbelievable and helped so many people. Where's that ballot hat??

In short: Nice flat course.
In full: First time at the Kingston 16, enjoyed it as half of it's very scenic along the river. The road running part is a little more dull but good for PBs.

Very well organised, great support and wished I'd collected a few more goodies before hand as they were all gone by the time I'd finished.

Good distance in the lead up to London marathon. Would consider doing it again :)

In full: Enjoyed it again this year. Hated the double backs in Hyde park but over all good race. Some areas needed a little something but overall good enough to want me to go back.
