In short: Great race!
In full: Spot on organisation by Nice Work as usual - their races are always brilliant. Lovely scenery, plenty of marshalls, great support en route, and I loved the chocolate biscuits at the end. I agree the kids race cutting through us was not ideal (mostly because I got overtaken by 8 year olds!) but apart from that great! See you next year.

In short: Great race thanks!
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this race, well organised and the staggered start made things much easier for the slower amongst us :)

The marshalls were brilliant - very encouraging and vocal, which helps so much.

Not sure about the mud though!

The only 2 things I was a bit disappointed with was the stunningly small sized 'medium' tshirt (I shall get large next year!) and mens shave gel in the goody bag. Using it myself though!

Will certainly be back, thanks to everyone.

In short: Lovely race, really enjoyed myself
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed the race, thanks to all the organisers/marshalls etc and what amazxing crowd support. Thank you to the residents of Hastings, particularly the lady with the bag of Refreshers!

But I do ache a bit today, but that is my fault due to not running much lately having bronchitus!

My only complaint is....give it up with the horse brasses guys, medal please :)

In short: Excellent race, but....
In full: I really enjoyed the race and as my first 10mile (despite having done loads of other distances) I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Marshalls were really nice and the views were amazing.

However despite arriving at the school at 10am, in what I feel is plenty of time, the marshall informed me there was no parking left. I know the race info said to park in the local streets but it didn't say they were all restricted parking! Found a space eventually and got my chip no problems, but then joined the loo queue - 2 ladies loos are not enough for all those people so I (and at least another 11 other ladies) missed the start.

Apart from that all was good, but the logistical issues mean I will probably give it a miss next year. Starting a race wound up is not the best start :)

In short: Lovely race thank you
In full: I thoroughly enjoyed this race again this year. I knocked over 10min off my half PB, and DID run all the way up THAT hill :)

Lovely atmosphere, great organisation and the one thing that made me frown (and cough) was the marshall in Hythe who was smoking. Not helpful when you are struggling to breathe well anyway.

Apart from that a great race, thanks for the goody bag and bits at the end. Looking forward to next year.

In short: Lovely series, thoroughly enjoyed it thanks
In full: I set a PB for the 10k and 5k during this series this year. 3rd time I have run it and I will be back next year.

Thank you for moving the finish to avoid that tight right turn and the gravel when I am in my final sprint finish - that was great!

Would really recommend this series to anyone.

In short: Excellent race, thank you!
In full: This is the third time I have run this race and thoroughly enjoyed it as usual. Very quick course, and a great charity to support as well. Excellent organisation, no problems at all.

In short: Lovely race but please start earlier!
In full: My friends and I had a great time at this race, and the fete was good fun afterwards. Lovely sunny day but that just leads me into the only 2 negtives - another water station at half way and an earlier start 10am say would have been good please. Apart from that its all good and I really enjoyed it thanks.

In short: Lovely day, lovely race, lovely burgers afterwards
In full: Well done to all at Nice Work, a lovely race, really enjoyed myself. And to have a bar and a BBQ afterwards and a good band to listen to while the sun went down really made it for me.

The course was really pretty, very scenic and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
