In short: Lovely canter around the snowy paths - a great start to Boxing Day!
In full: Very well organised event with a friendly race crew. It's a regular race for lots of my running group as it's just right for recovering after Christmas. It's nice to see a real community event with junior races and a real mix of racers and joggers in the main race.

In short: Really well organised with an enthusiastic and friendly crew of helpers.
In full: Every aspect of the race was well looked after - no queues for anything, nice rugby shirt as a momento and an enthusiastic race crew.

In short: Good run on a very soggy day
In full: It felt more like a cross-country race for the first three miles along the canal tow-path, but after that it was a nice run through the woods around Hemel and Ashridge.
Very well done to the marshals who must have been freezing in the rain and sleet - at least us runners were moving along to keep warm. The jelly-baby stop with a few miles to go is a nice touch.

In short: Glad the ice thawed and the race went ahead - a pretty course after the first few miles

In short: Well organised, enthusiastic support through the race and nice rugby shirt
In full: It must have been a huge hassle to organise remote parking and bus transfers to the race, but it all worked like clockwork.
One of the little touches that made a difference for me was the use of foam cups (rather than plastic ones), I could squeeze them to make a spout and drink on the run without it all going everywhere. Maybe that helped me to a PB today.

Great race Harriers - well done.

In short: Well organised race with a flat, traffic-free course.
In full: Good event, real pb potential on this course.
Nice mug for a momento, good to take away something that can be used.

In short: a bit hilly but I'd recommend this race
In full: Interesting, scenic course with good organisation and marshaling.
Nice goody bags and it was good to have a beer and chat at the barbecue afterwards.

In short: Good race, with a barbecue and beer at the end
In full: A good race, with encouraging marshals to lead you through the country lanes around Cranfield. The barbecue at the student bar is a nice chance to compare notes with other runners after the event. I'll be back to do this one next year.

In short: Great venue, well organised and lots of enthusiastic spectators made this a great evening. The free watermelon slices were a nice touch and just the job to help to cool down afterwards.
