In short: Disappointed with myself, but not the race
In full: 8 minutes slower than last year because i didn't respect the course and prepare well enough. That said well done to the organisers it ran like clockwork and it is a great run. Weather soooo much better than last year!!Only small critisism is the carparking was much further away than last year and 20 minutes with a cramped foot was painfull...

In short: The name says it all (except it should be Suicide 6.5ish)
In full: Did Hartshill Heartbreaker on this day last year, and have had 12 months arguing with my mate which was the better/harder. I now concede he was right!! Great fun, killer hills, sapping mud, and the stairs... Marshalls were great, although water feature was a bit lame. Definately do it again.

In short: Great race, soooo hilly, but enjoyable
In full: To the joker at half way who said that was the hills out of the way TTTHHHRRRUUUPPP!!!

Thank god for the cold water that brought my legs back to life after all those hills, but then the sand dunes... :o(

Loved the race, but 55 mins off the A3 meant I turned up at the gun, fortunately the bag drop off was right at the start line so I wasn't too late...

In short: Ran like clockwork
In full: This was the best organised half marathon I have run... except for leaving the carpark, which was horrendous. Overall I loved the whole event, well done. (I also improved on my pb from 2 weeks ago at Wolverhampton!!)

In short: Just right
In full: Only gripe was no chip so heavan only knows how accurate my time will be (I know it isn't that important). Other than that, great organisation, good course with the occasional challenging hill, and loads of water stations and local support. To top it all off the rain did not start till I was 200 meters from the end. Good snacks by Greggs too!!

In short: Very Scenic and nice challenging course
In full: Hot day, nicely undulating, was willing the 7 mile drink station to come, but it was closer to 8 mile. Locals with hosepipes etc were very welcome.

In short: Very enjoyable race, well organised and great support, if a little pricey
In full: For the money spent would have expected a goody bag, but other than that a well organised, fun race that I will definately do again

In short: Wind, Hail, Wind, Sun, Wind, Rain, Wind, Sleet, Wind, Snow, Wind, More Hail.... did I mention the wind?
In full: Weather torturous, atmosphere limited as to where spectators were allowed to go, but knocked 20 mins off my PB as the course was esentially flat. As a fan of F1 it was great to run the track even if it was a bit dull at times.

In short: Nice race, well organised although not exactly as it said on the tin
In full: Enjoyed the race thoroughly and no complaints at all, but the race page here says flat (more undulating), road (half on a field) and occasional drink stations (one at the end only). All that said great atmosphere with runners of all abilities and well organised.
