In full: My TOP 10 reasons why this marathon is the best

1. Perfect organisation

2. Top class support from marshals, St John, police, commentator etc

3. Great value for money - to include things like free massage and free parking!!

4. Fantastic, friendly and fun atmosphere

5. Super fast course with a great well stocked water staion layout. PB for me yayyyy

6. Lots of support possible from family and friends - due to the nature of the course

7. Stunning sceneray - the Welsh coastline in this area is really special

8. Briliant mementos and a goody bag with post marathon food (... and not stuff to wash your hair with!!!)

9. Totally suitable for novice marthoners - I cant think of a better one to try first

10. It's in WALES

In short: Perfect conditions for a perfect event
In full: Although a small number of runners this felt like a much bigger event and everything was top class.

Many thanks to the organisers for providing us with a marathon in South Wales - I hope some of the negative criticism in the ratings and them from doing a great job. There are not many who can put on a fantastic event like this and we runners need more of them.

Also many thanks to all the volunteers you were brilliant especially those in the last six miles.

I will be back in 2011

Even the weather failed to dampen the spirits of the many taking part in this superb event.

In full: Fantastic organisation, top marks for the marshals and all the support, the wind added to the challenge. Best event around. No free food but that is a very small point.

Overall MASSIVELY impressed.

Please, please keep this one going and will see you again next year or perhaps at the 10k.
