In short: third year running(no pun intended) i have done this race,some tough challenges & some good surfaces to increase your tempo on. shame about the weather compared to last year. a shoe in for 09
In full: would like to have improved on last year but not to be may be because of the cold and wind or just slowing down?.momento has improved and race is still a must from now on. marshalling was excellent, thanks to all who did such a fantastic job with loads of encouragement. c u in 09

In short: my local race start a lot congested with slower runners a problem
In full: a good course appart from the start.the first lap of the town streets is a little strange,any chance a start near asda so the first mile possibly along queensway, then along high street could sort out those trying to run and talk from those just trying to run a respectable time

In short: tough on the joints but great warm up for boozy bike tour.beef.
In full: have only done one previous half in the last 20 years(stafford) but would recommend this event to everyone.never going to be the fastest race but really enjoyable.good t shirt and great changing facilities c u in 2007
