In short: Great event
In full: Only decided to enter on the day as I was in the area. Fabulous event, but a VERY TOUGH route especially as it was exceptionally hot. Excellent organisation, with plenty of much needed water stations.
My only criticism, I missed out on a T-shirt (heading straight for the water after crossing the line), despite the organisers promising to post me one out I never did get one. Perhaps I’ll enter next year?

In short: Great support from marshals
In full: 5th time for me running Cov HM, but first time on this course. Enjoyed it, partly due to the weather which was close to perfect for a HM (cold but sunny). Great support from marshals and locals, especially during the “lumpy” middle section. Nice mix of city/rural.
Didn’t bother with the Decathlon discount card, absolutely no use unless you are a local. The race itself has the feel of a big city race, but without the crowds….so the best of both worlds. Results show 1350 finishers, I’m guessing that Cov doesn’t attract a higher number of entrants due to the 10,000+ running in Birmingham the following week? Personally, I’d rather do this event than run with so many (parking was easy, not too crowded on the course etc). Would I run it again? Probably

In short: Cannot praise highly enough!!
In full: One of the best events I've ever done. Great course, lovely scenery. Plenty of enthusiastic marshals. Great atmosphere. Incredibly well organised.
