In short: Nice one.
In full: bargain !t-shirt, goody bag and medal. Free lucozade stuff. Well organised.
Undulating course, pace maker went off like a demented hare and was never seen again, and a smell of vomit at the finish but these were not the organisers fault.

In short: Local favourite x-country with hills
In full: The switchback seems ok if you take it gently. Will hope to trot around next year if the marshalls can wait that long for me to get around again!

In short: 2 laps on the pavements and hills of Beckenham
In full: Will always remember this for jogging next to a bus and inhaling exhaust fumes for 1K. A nice day out with a nice gong and friendly people.

In short: 2 laps around the gorgeous Knowle Park...
In full: Usually a warm day and a well organised jaunt around the very scenic Knowle Park. Careful not to tread in the deer poo. The most difficult thing is getting to the start from the clubhouse !

In short: A hill which required a ski-lift but otherwise nice....
In full: Friendly 8K out and back cross country. The hill at 3miles is a bit steep and slowed most people to a walk. Fun in the sun....

In short: Fast and flat 3 laps Usually warm.
In full: There doesn't seem to be starters gun. I think somebody at the front says "BANG!" It gets a bit dull 3rd time around by which time you can come to terms with your "why do I do it?" or your "couldabeenacontenda!"
