In short: Flat and Fast and well organised
In full: This race is well described by people before me. There was no brass band this time but the Km markers were on poles stuck into the ground this time. Its a well organised fast course with a good mix of runners.

In short: Fastest half marathon course I've been on!
In full: This course has definite PB potential. It was very well organised with complete road closures. I stood in the right place for my time at the start and did not really get held up. Which is surprising with how crowded it was in places. At the end I received a sports drink, technical t shirt (nice to get one that I'm going to use) and a paperweight memento, all of which I'm happy with.

In short: God marathon preparation
In full: This is a very good marathon preparation race. It is the longest race I've done and I was wondering what it would be like to race so long. Its given me more confidence to run faster when I tackle my marathon later this year. The hill at the start of all the 3 laps was gradual compared to what I'm used to. pleased that I've done it. It felt quite exposed in the wind in the quiet lanes. Felt safe in the traffic. The only problem was the drinks at the finish point. There was not a lot of water left it those tanks.

In short: Flat and Fast
In full: Just turned up and raced this one. Went really well. I got a PB and my fastest WAVA score. So I really enjoyed it. The only thing I would point out is that it is quite congested. I was being held up slightly throughout the race but maybe I should have started higher up the field.

In short: Up the hill and fast down
In full: I really enjoyed this race. The hill that seemed to get steeper and steeper. A glorious view. Then went as fast as I could downhill to the finish past a reservoir. All on country lanes.

In short: Fastest course I'm been on!
In full: The flattest course I've been on! The hill at the start wasn't a problem. Then winding country roads through lovely scenic countryside, mostly flat. The sting did get me but I managed it. I got a PB! Organised very well, thanks.

In short: A respectable race
In full: Thanks for the support of the many spectators. Very well organised with plenty of marshals. It was a struggle to go up the 2 mile long steady hill at 10 but I got a PB so cannot complain. I look forward to beating my time next year.

In short: Couple of tough hills
In full: No problems with the start this year and all the marshals did a very good job. Plenty of water stops. The scenery was gorgeous. Got to Blore just after the big hill and then ran as fast as I could and got a PB. A very good race.

In short: Very hilly!!
In full: My first time on this race and found it a very good race and great views. Took the first hill (Gun) carefully and that paid off for the rest of the race. Sprinted the last mile downhill. Thanks for all the support. Bit of a long walk to the starting point.
