In short: Very enjoyable race
In full: Really enjoyed this despite being a tough course. I don't know what was harder, running up such steep hills or trying to stay on your feet coming down them!!! I did fall and cut my knee open about half way but got to finish. Well done to the St Johns Ambulance that cleaned me and others up! Marshalls were good and supportive. Would love it if this race was a regular one!!!!

In short: This is a must for you race calendar!
In full: Second time running this event and loved it even more this time. Organisation is good, course is good with nice scenery and good ups and downs. Service at the start is lovely. I moaned last year about no medal and this year there was a great medal. All in all I would definetly recommend this race and will definetly be back next yesr!

In short: Good for a PB
In full: Could possibly have been signposted better as it was tucked away a bit. Only a small race but maybe a couple more portaloos would have been better. That said the course is nice and flat and is great PB potential. Not a great race but one I would consider doing again.

In short: Hope this is a regular run!
In full: I throughly enjoyed this run. The route is great, not overly expensive and the medal was great. Plus all proceeds going to a very worthy charity. This should be on everyones calendar!

In short: My local race and I love it
In full: The race is well organized and I actually like the route (despite not normally liking laps). It's a flat course and the route allows spectators to see their runners 4 times. The route could actually cope with more runners so hope this becomes even bigger. That said the toilets would need to be increased to cope with that.

In short: Great race - Will be back next year!
In full: I thoroughly enjoyed this event. The organisation was very good, the course was good, nice to see spectators along the way and I got a PB! Getting out of the car park was a bit of a nightmare but not much could be done on that part. This is a race I’ll definitely be doing next year!

In short: Good potential and something different
In full: I've done a couple of these events and enjoyed this one. Nice that it wasn't too busy as you had the chance to run it rather than stuck behind walkers. I think £20 was a bit steap for a 10k and t-shirt i'll never wear. That said it's well worth doing so I should be back next year.

In short: Very good event
In full: The second time ive run this race and I enjoyed it just as much. Can't fault the organization of the event. The only problem was the lack of runners. This was probably due to this being re-arranged and other events on the same day. There were a few occasions where it felt like I was out on my own! It's a shame as this is a very good race and I hope more runners enter next year.........I know I will!

In short: Good fun and well worth doing, can be frustrating though!
In full: This was my first proper trail running event and I did really enjoy it. Loved the water sections and the hills that you could run up!! The main issue I think is that there were a lot of walkers. I think some of the hills were so steap that you couldn't run them and to walk was a welcome relief. However there were people walking after about a mile!!! I mean come on if your walking after a mile then why are you attempting this race???? It did become frustrating keep stopping and starting. That said I did enjoy the race as a whole and the medal, t-shirt and goody bag was good value for the entry fee. I'll be back next year and try to get nearer to the front!!!

In short: Very good race. Well worth doing
In full: Enjoyed this race very much. The course was varied with some good ups and downs. Marshalls were encouraging and there were enough water stations. The 2 minute silence and small service before was a nice touch. One small gripe and this relates to a lot of races I've done recently not just this one. No medal for finishers!! I understand the cost involved and when you do a lot of races it doesn't bother you that much. That said if people train specifically for an event and finish the race then I feel they should be rewarded with something other than a t-shirt.
