In full: 3rd time I've done the event and must say I believe the change of route helped the atmosphere. Especially going twice downhill through the town centre.

In full: Enjoyed the race as ever. Really good run on a Sunday morning. Interesting at times on the icy downhill stretch into Compton. Marshalling good. And although I certainly do not do races for the mementoes it certainly was curious to get the same mug as last year, with the same year on it!!!! Suplies letf over from last year perhaps?
A DIY sticker may be in order!
However, will certainly be back next year.

In full: Excellent. The one word sums it up nicely.
However, to elaborate.
A wonderfully scenic course, escecially from the top of the hill at St Martha's. Really enjoyed the fact the race was almost entirely off road. Added charm to the event.
However, whoever thought of sending us up to the ruins at St Catherine's and straight back down again deserves to be shot!!
Thought the marshalling was superb, very supporting and encouraging. With the fact the race was off road I thought the amount of marshalling is to be commended.
Also, nice touch having chopped up Mars bars and biscuits at the feed stations. Very civilised!!
In summary, cannot recommend this race highly enough.

In short: Competed for the 2nd year running (pardon the pun!), and enjoyed as much as last year.
In full: Agree with some of the previous comments that the estimated finishing time markers would have made it less chaotic at the start, thought these worked well last year. However, did not spoil the enjoyment of a good run round a fast, flat course. Also, to echo other comments, thought the support given around the course by the locals was excellent. In note a common gripe seems to be the apparant length of the course. All I would add to any debate is that by my Garmin it indicated the course was 0.02 miles longer than last year. Not something us mere mortal runners need get upset about, me thinks!

In short: Ran for the 3rd year and achieved a course PB by 5 minutes. Therefore, pretty pleased.
In full: Having read some of the previous comments regarding the baggage problems I can only add, my observations were that the organisation was as good as ever with lots of attendants to help with the storage of bags. However, if people were leaving it to the last minute to hand in bags due to the incliment conditions and possible late arrivals, this is certainly not the fault of the organisers. Thanks once again for a good race around a generally flat and fast course. Will definately be back next year.

In full: Having done the race for the last 5 years I always look forward to the challenge of the run up to the top of the Hogs Back hill. Being nearer to the front could not comment like others have regarding lack of water, other than to say I did you use up any of the what sounds like precious supplies! Agree fully with comments made regarding toilets, or lack of therewith. However, nice to see admission of mistakes made already posted on the GGAC homepage. Hopefully these will be rectified in time for next year.

In full: Firstly, the negatives. No baggage storage was surprising and frustrating. The start was to put it politely, shambolic. With it not clear where the start line was, even which direction the race was starting!, confusion rained. However, please don't let this deter you from what was primarily a fun run to raise funds for a most worthwhile cause. The course was ever challenging, especially allowing for the inclement weather and the resulting mud. However, to be fair, this made it all the more enjoyable. A good race to add to your calendar.

In short: Thoroughly enjoyed last year and didn't diappoint again
In full: Excellent vale for money when you take the contents of the goody bag into account.
To echo other peoples comments superb encouragement from all marshalls round the course to help you up them hills. Excellent race.
