In short: Generally well organised friendly race with plenty of local charm.
In full: 3rd time I've done this race and I prefer the new start/finish venue to the old racecourse one. The traffic was a bit annoying but not sure how you'd get around this. Always seem to have a good run here and managed to knock a few minutes off my London time - I love the hills!

In short: Brilliant organisation, brilliant support out on the course, great race but a toughie with plenty of hills!

In short: Nobody does it better...
In full: ...another classic Endurancelife event with all the trademarks - hills, mud, spectacular scenery, more hills, more mud. There were some horrendously steep, slippery sections (my hands were as muddy as my feet by the end!) and the cabbage fields were a really nice touch... but plenty of lovely running too.

In short: Friendly and well organised as ever - a few more hills have appeared since 2006...

In short: A gentle cornish canter...
In full: ...this was not. It's a hugely fascinating and varied course, steeped in cornish history with everything from stone mining stacks to greenstone boulders to ancient stone cattle grids. During the first half you run along precipitous cliffs with waves crashing below your feet. At half way this changes as you cross ancient stone-walled fields and misty heather-clad moorland, at times following old stone tracks and at others wading through knee deep mud. Endurancelife staff were great as usual - friendly, welcoming and encouraging and the post-race chilli definitely hit the spot!

In short: Bright and Breezy!
In full: I found this harder than I was expecting to - somehow it felt like we were running into the wind for the whole 26.2! Well organised, friendly marshalls and lots of proper Cornish hospitality ...and what a pasty!

In short: Breathtaking!
In full: I love Endurancelife events - organising races is obviously their passion and they do it so well. After getting injured I decided to swap to the half which I ran with my sister as it was her 1st one so had a chance to really enjoy it for a change! Will be back for the long one next year...

In short: Fun fun fun! Until the 30 mile mark...
In full: Actually did T2T1 but as there's no rating available for that I've put it here. This was my 1st Ambition Event and I have to say the other competitors make it. Everyone's great and I've made new friends just through the process of training for and running this event. Plenty more lined up for the year...

In short: Lovely Race
In full: Stunning scenery, brilliant marshalling (especially the kid with the Jaffa Cakes - genius!), lots of Cornish hospitality and of course the pasties... It's hilly enough to keep it interesting with most of the tough climbs in the 1st half and plenty to take your mind off the pain!
