In short: Loved it the route the weather the organisation and the novelty of starting in one place finishing in another and despite one expected tumble still managed something like 2.11 would definitely do it again. Sarah

In full: I really enjoyed this event from the start the novelty of everyone singing The National Anthem before setting off really gave us motivation.I have done lots of half marathons regularly using my Garmen and to my horror realised today I had forgotten it but I think it turned out the best thing. It has been a long time since I could say I really enjoyed a race. The scenery was spectacular lovely views and it was lovely running through the coolness of the woods.I managed to fall over twice the second one a bit more spectacular than the first so have a few grazes and ache a bit today I think I must have got tired but despite this it was just such a great race.I ended up one minute 8 seconds over the two hour mark but didn't care the feeling of achievement was great.Loved the goodies at the end great T shirt and my husband loved the beer can't wait for next year.

In full: This was definitely a special race being set at such a lovely venue a psychologically challenging first lap the lake being so huge but good pb potential and managed to achieve my goal of under 50 minutes thanks to the help of another runner who helped to pace me!Nice t shirts and a nice goody bag with a snack and medal.

In short: A nice race of 20 miles and a good sense of achievement
In full: This was my first 20 mile race although I have done one marathon.I was worried about the prospect of laps and getting bored and slower but this was not the case. There was excellent support from marshalls good drinks stations and a little band encouraging you on each lap the weather was lovely and I enjoyed the course and it didnt bother me that I was doing it four times. There were a few hills but felt they were very small in comparison to the ones I did in the centenary marathon I took part in.The goody bag was great only complaint t shirt was enormous! Would do this race again.
