In short: Seems more like a fun run
In full: Well organised run but quite low key. Potentially a PB course but too much of a head wind going out and too hot overall to run fast this year.

In short: Nice day out
In full: Local run race with no big sponsor. The course is not traffic free but not an issue on these country lanes. A big well done to all those involved for a well organised event.

In short: Slowly improving
In full: My local race and having not run it for a few years you could see a big improvement in the organisation but we must remember that it is a council run event! After a delay in starting, the weather and atmosphere made this a good race to complete with locals supporting well and a traffic free run with a finish in the historic Lincoln castle.

In short: Hard up and down hills.
In full: If you want to do well you need to work up the hills and leave enough for some strong down hill running. Very well organised and will be there again next year.

In short: Hard but good
In full: A course that needs respect for the first few miles that include some good hard climes. The downhiil sections go through some nice senery and villages. Overall a very well organised and freindly run.

In short: over ambitious for the space available
In full: potential to be a good race but spoilt by the annual poor organisation. Nice finish in the castle but this area isn't big enough to cope with all the runners and families.
Long queues for medels and t-shirts typified the level of organisation. They need to go look at other events to see how it's done.

In short: more water needed in the very hot weather
In full: Overall a freindly good organised event. A possible fast course on a cooler day but it's normally hot for this race so you would expect an extra water station in these conditions.
