In short: undulating needs a fair few things ironing out
In full: Would think again about entering this, little disapointed, lack of marshels meant us back runners wondering if we were going the right way at times on this twisty, turning course, lack of water stations , one halfway round quarter of a cup of water, needs at least two on a hot day. Goody bag was impressive, t-shiert could do with event and date on it. socks apreciated, to was the drink at the end., plus why were there no car park sign and where the start was indicated on aproach to Boldmere gate and once in the Park.

In short: A splendid Race
In full: A wee bit early, can only improve with time once a few things were and are ironed out.

Need more toilets at the start, found the male open air toilets funny, but wasnt that brave.

More stuff to do in the park for the families with kids waiting round would be good,

otherwise a warm glow inside, even though a few muscles needing rest.

In short: Course great, needs a lot of sorting out of the finer details
In full: Did a PB so Happy. Goody bag, the only thing kept was the energy gel and rugby ball for the cat, no need for all the paper stuff in it. First water station, not enough people had to stop for twenty seconds to wait for drink, Start we waited an age and the warm up i did had been not worth it as i was cold at the start. good course, friendly people, was the first time Northampton had done a race so not to bad if they iron out a few things, it will be better, like fruit in the goody bag, entertainment was good around the course to, will be back next year, not bad for a first time effort, well done Northampton. get the football club to put somat in the goody bag, come on Mr Cordoza.

In short: Refreshes the parts of races can't get to.
In full: Great race, second time i have done this 2006 and now 2008 and theyhave ironed out the mistakes from 2006. great atmospher all round. Just wish Coventry was a wee bit more scenic but hey that's cities for you. Left you with a warm glow inside, was actualy sad it had finished.

In short: Nice Race even the local dog walkers were forthcoming with Encouragment
In full: Nice little stroll around a lake with some friends. The course was harder than I expected, which made me hold back a little on the first curcuit, Felt a hell of a lot shorter the second time around, funny how things play with your mind like that, and only living twenty minutes away i would probably use Chasewater Park for a run now and again. Overall a nice morning out with some lovely like minded people, the only thing that spoilt it was the idiot on his BMX bike at the end that rode at me and then stopped a few yards away spaying me with Gravel.

In short: Well Done Guys
In full: Great Race, PB potential, smashed my pb for 10k to pieces, only gripe was low attendance of Marshalls on road section, but it needed the road section. Well done again, maybe two water stations. But great encouragment from Marshalls and a great race that will have me back next year.

In short: Thank-you Aldridge that was bloody brilliant
In full: Runners World take note please, you have to list this race in the top 5 when you next do a top 30 or 50, 10K road races in your magazine. The organzation was Superb ran like clockwork. Every Marshall you met on the course were full of nothing but praise, and as for the locals around the course, you were great. There were people shouting and screaming you home in the last 250 Meters that left you feeling like Dan Robinson rather than a sunday morning slogger, everyone in the last 250 meters you were brilliant, it left me with a lump in my throat as i walked through the finish. When can i sign up for next year.

In short: An excellent race, with a superb wine glass and goody bag to make it worth while
In full: Great organisation, the last third needs to be flattened out a little bit, was on for a PB until the long sweeping hill took it's toll. the encouragment all the way around was brilliant including the unofficial water station provided by a mother and her two kids a third way round. would definate do this next year and for the forthcoming five so i can complete my wine glass dinner set, certainly makes just a medal for finishing pale into significance when you get a wine glass. Wll done Aldridge Running Club, also thanks for the Ruck sack as a goody bag, saved me a few quid.

In short: Makes Snowdonia look like Holland
In full: Needed a boit more encouragment from various people around the course, otherwise a well organised race, the first five kilometers were up and down but the last five Kilometers were flatish, felt like i was motoring along the last half. Good atmosphere from other runners. would return next year to flatten them hills.
