In short: Excellent run, brillian day, well organised and the best goody bag I've ever seen.
In full: Well done Nidd Valley. Really enjoyed this race despite not getting a PB but the goody bag made up for it. Every one seemed to be differnt. Nice T-shirt and the organisation was spot on and marshalls all deserve a huge thank you. Will definately be back next year.

In short: Very well organised race, good course and friendly marshalls and excellent faciliities.
In full: Good local race, which is always well organised and the tee-shirts this year are extra special. Shame it's poss the last race on the current route - I'll miss that hill up to Horsforth!! Well done Kirkstall.

In short: Very challenging race, but well worth the effort, made all the better by the weather.
In full: Good value race, with plenty of water and snacks on the way round. Course was partially marked but still feel you'd need to recce it or run with someone who knows the course. Marshalls were very friendly and can't complain about the facilities back at the finish. Good day, if not slightly painful!

In short: Tough race, well organised and well worth the trip
In full: This race really is as described, hilly, multi-terrain & 30K!! However, excellent organisation, route markers and marshalls made for a great trip out. I used this as a training run and boy do I know I've run it! Found it tough in parts but felt brilliant at the finish, even the cold showers couldn't dampen my spirits. Will be back next year and will spread the word about this excellent race. Well Done Belper Rugby Club.

In short: Good flat build up to what is a tough, hilly section but a lovely fast finish.
In full: Race was well organised and excellent value for money. Will do it again next year. Was actually quite grateful for the rain as I would have struggled up those hills had it been sunny/warm. Well worth getting wet for.

In short: Well organised run, which was well supported and marshalled.
In full: My first half marathon, really enjoyed it. No major hills or problems and the weather was near perfect. Start & finish was well organised and plenty of loos was bit help. The bottled water at the stations was a god-send but lack of "goodies" in goodie bag as disappointing. A bar of chocolate or snack would have been good. But will be back next year!!

In short: The race was fast & fast as promised, but congestion at finish line meant I lost valualbe seconds of my PB time. The water and T-shirt collection point was too close to the finish so runners were queing before they'd even crossed the finish line.
In full: I loved the flat course and the location was great. Stayed on for a picnic afterwards and caught a few rays. If start and finsih lines sorted out could be a great race. Also I agree with the comment about t-shirt sizes. I got a medium one for the wife, good job really as she ended up with a "nightie"!! But all said and done will probably do it again.

In short: Excellent course, PB potential, well organised and the BBQ and cakes stall afterwards finished off a lovely event. Well done Arkendale
In full: Highly recommend this race, on the whole was well organised, the whole village seemed to be lending a hand in one way or another. The marshalls were great and the smell of the BBQ got me round that course just that little bit quicker. Will be back in 2008.
