In short: Hot (again) Hilly (still) well-organised (consistent), parking muddled In full: Seems to get harder each year? Not sure how the english weather can be consistently hot on one weekend each year. Lots of water on the course which was good - freindly "neighbours" offering their own impromptu water stations too! Course is challenging, but rewarding - great downhill finish. Need to provide better communication for those attempting to park .. where to go etc. Date of review: June 15, 2009

In short: Warm, rather than hot - start and finish a bit muddled: otherwise great. In full: Needed to more clearly identify the start and finish points. There have been banners in previous years I seem to recall? When you're chasing someone's back at full speed into a narrowing funnel you're not so aware of a thin yellow line on the ground. The clock was obscured by spectators .. I didn't realise it was there till 10 minutes after I'd finished. Otherwise - excellent marshalling again, a challenging course and I seem to improving each year. Will be back next year, I hope. Date of review: May 11, 2009

In short: Better (easier?) course, great marshalling, need to improve the post-finish organisation In full: My 3rd time, and 3 different courses - preferred this year's course (would love it to be a consistent course). Great weather, great support along the route. Difficulty in getting people through at the finish. Date of review: June 9, 2008

In short: Unpredicatable UK weather makes it harder In full: Well organised and marshalled, challenging undulations, still struggling to get sub-45 mins .. at least this year I can blame the heat. Date of review: May 12, 2008

In short: Good fun, not sure of exact distance, and single-file slowed me a little In full: Really couldn't tell if the course was different from last year, felt much the same. Tricky finish point too - up the hill. Too much single-file running to get a PB, and agree with other comments that last km seemed nearer a mile. Will do it again next year. In short: Tough hills this year, might actually prefer the long slog of last year's course. Book your BBQs for this race-day, always hot! Date of review: June 10, 2007
