In short: Enjoyable rural half marathon made challenging in places with some hills and s stiff wind, great marshalling but would have preferred bottled water instead of plastic cups at the drinks stations.

In short: A challenging 10 mile race in beautiful Warwickshire countryside
In full: I really enjoyed this race and the ups and downs that came with it. The downside was the long circling laps around one of the fields at the 2-3 mile stage. It was great to get into the woods for some respite from the warm sun but the steep climbs soon had you wishing for the warm flat fields again. I would love to compete in this race in Autumn/Winter when the mud and rain would really make the woods a great challenge. Will be taking part next year when the numbers will be at least double or possibly triple the 71 brave souls who turned up this year.

In short: Great race, well organised, brilliant marshalling
In full: The organisation of this race was second to none with marshalls posted at leat every half mile giving bags of encouragement. There were 4 water stations in all which were very welcome. Baggage area, timimg, parking and accessibility were fantastic. This was quite hilly in the initial stages but you were compensated at the ned by some gloriously fast downhill sections where you could claw a couple of minutes back. This was only my second half marathon which I completed in 1:48 which was a whole 7 minutes faster than the Coventry H.M back in October. Loved it and will be back again next year....Many Thanks Bedford you did us proud :o)
