In short: Why have i not run this before?
In full: I live very local and not done this before, i have missed a gem, the decent from the forest over Pitsone Hill was stunning, even with strong winds blowing!. But loved it.

In short: Mix of surfaces great, route excellent, challenging hills
In full: Have to agreed with previous contributors, regards the chaos at the finish for drinks, enjoyed the orange however, particularly sympathetic for those at the back who didn't get listed and no medal or T shirt, i think this happened last year too? However the organisers have best intentions but if your gonna use chip times then the start line must activate the chip!

In short: My local race
In full: Some tricky road crossings for the marshalls to control, weather made the day, seemed well supported , my garmin had the race a little short by 0.09 of a mile?, no goody bag? was there one?

In short: lesson learnt. get some grippier footwear than normal road running shoes, i came a tumble down the first very slippy/muddy hill, loads of cuts but finiashed strong, last incline was the first that i ever had to walk a few paces during a run, nuff sa

In short: Good transport, great route, nice to do a bit of 'off' road', 2nd best time of the year so OK with me
In full: Loos at the start would be good, easier to overtake than i thought before the race, good first timers race in my view and fun for the more experienced as well. 8.5/10

In short: It was tough enough running in the rain and cold let alone marshalling, well done to them. Love the route, wish it was later in the year though, ie May, then the full beauty of the area would be seen.
