In short: Excellent organisation
In full: Lovely friendly club.Really looked after families.Superb childrens race.Lovely pudsey park. The race is always tough two very steep climbs...many people walked these...I managed to keep going.Marshalling really encouraging.A tough tough race but probably the best 10k in Yorkshire. The goody bag was nice and there was boxes of socks, hats, water bottles all free from the sponsors Puma.Loads of drinks at the end plus fruit.A really valuable race and Pudsey should be really proud of themselves.Thank you for an enjoyable morning.

In short: A bit dissapointed.
In full: Was really forward to this my 6th marathon.A found the course boring..too manty hedges and nothing to look at for most of the race. The marshalling was excellent, drinks stations and the young marshalls were graet.Support was superb when it appeared far too rural for me..you ran for ages without a sole in site, but when you did see the locals they were very supportive.Didn't enjoy the queue after to ahve your photo taken with the medal give runners a choive I just wanted to get to my family and not queue like in a supermarket.Well done to the organisors.I wont be running this again but I dont want to put anyone off.Give it a go and 2012 and make your own mind up.

In short: Got my pb at 1hr 33
In full: Dissapoinred in some parts.Too packed at the start with daft runners scalling barriers far too cramped.Support fairly sparse at times. No isotonic drinks just water very dissapointed what withthe price of 29 pounds.Run along the mersey was the best part.Won't be back for a few years Leeds half a lot better race the crowds at Leeds are amazing.Car parking rip off £5 to park near the start.I paid £8 plus in the city centre as advised. Why not £2 runners throughout city.Just felt conned.

In short: Thank you again RRR
In full: fifth time in a row ive done this one...well it would be rude not too as I live in Spen!Brilliant announcer so welcoming...great changing facilities and the collection of numbers was superb well done to RRR.The race well started off great but the wind took its toll up Windybank and hartshead missed my course pb by 1 min and felt flat at the end, felt physically sick at the end due to a massive cold which has dogged me for a fortnight. But hey thanks roberttown you are really nice folk and I will be back again in 2012.Like the tee shirt reminds me off a somesort of guest beer..hope to be at the real ale festival in the summer and deffo for the roberttown 7.Thanks again team at RRR. 10/10.
