In short: Thanks for a super race - great marshalls and a lovely cup of tea!
In full: Forgotten how this one just seems to carry on going up! The mud was hard-going, but miles 10-12 are worth all the effort. Super atmosphere againn - hats off to Sleaford Striders!

In short: Much better experience all round this year
In full: The price is so steep! But the course is flat. Expecting folk to pay extra for a t-shirt is just too much. Actual course is superb and the race itself was much better organised this year.

In short: Superb organisation, and the most scenic and rewarding of routes
In full: This was brilliant - loved the little roadside boards to get you fired up as you went round - helped you focus on the two hills that's for sure. A great route that naturally splits into segments to help you manage your race. I knocked fifteen minutes off my half marathon time here: that's down to a number of things but this route is certainly quick, despite the two sharp hills. Defiinitely do it again and a special word to the excellent marshalls who looked after us all the way round. Faultless.

In short: Magnificent
In full: Absolutely over the moon with this one as it gave me a PB. The level of organisation is breathtaking, and a special mention to those helping out - particularly after the finish line - who were very good at shepherding dazed souls around! The friendly crowds are what make this event and the last mile is my favourite running experience.

In short: Great atmosphere and the Rotarians entertained. Save Bourne Woods!
In full: Despite my pal telling me this one was flat (!), I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. Lovely to be off road and the final sections with the rolling hills certainly test your mettle. Thoroughly enjoyable and a lovely mix of abilities. Just hope the developers don't get their hands on the place and the event is still around next year.

In short: Flat and pacey
In full: I'd like to see another water station, and the organisation after the finish needs to improve - the promo material said we'd be walking through the castle, collecting our t-shirt etc and ending up at The Lawn, but this didn't happen at all. Worst part of it was having to wait for access to water, that needs sorting if nothing else.

The course itself was great.

In short: Spirited and heartwarming - the last mile is like nothing else I've run, the crowd gives you such a lift.
