In short: A tough 20 miles mentally and physically!!
In full: 4 x 5mile loop was tough, some tough little inclines on route too. Thought the marshals were excellent and encouraging although some big side roads were left unattended. 2 x water stations on route was nice. a little dissapointed that race sponsors pulled out and no goody bag :( overall a good race and good preperation for London

In short: A tough half but well worth it!!
In full: Having raced this previously (2 years ago) I knew what to expect - a tough 13.1 miles....well tough 12 miles! I love this race as it's a lovely course and on a day like this year is beautiful!!! some tricky hills but a new pb this year. Toliets at the start could be improved and a slightly better goody bag, maybe a t-shirt instead of medal??

In short: A good marathon training run
In full: This was the first time i've completed this race and overall I really enjoyed it. Thought the course was lovely not too hilly and good support throughout. Disapointed with the goody bag, for the price of the race (and distance) would of been nice to have a medal or t-shirt! For Goodness Shake was a nice touch at the finish!!!

In short: A very enjoyable morning
In full: This was my first time at this race, got roped into it by my club who'd done it before. Was very pleased that i made the trip.
Managed to get a PB even if it was by 20 seconds, was very pleased as the hill at the start was really quite a struggle!! Very nice marshalls along the route which really did add to the atmosphere along with many needed water stations.
Goody bag was amazing, the best i've had in a very long time and really did make this race out to be good value for money.
Only negative was the toliet facilities, nearly missed the start due to the length of the que, might be worth trying to get a few more for next year?
Will be back next year! :)

In short: Even though it's not got great reviews i still do it every year!!!
In full: I always find it slightly dissapionting reading the reviews on this race. Although I have done races which are much better i still love this race and commit to it every year. This year seemed to take much longer to cross the start line and the first 2miles were very difficult to get into a stride due to the large number of people walking/stopping which is always frustrating! The entry is not cheap but is worth it to run on the closed roads of London although would be good to be rewarded with a slightly better goody bag as was very dissapointed ths year!
Still I know i'll be back next year!!!

In short: Amazing!
In full: An amazing day, a very early start which was made easier at the fact i managed to get a lift with the local running club, abit of a wait at the start but this was made enteraining at watching others and the big screen passin the time.
Was disappointed with the pen number but managed to get a great new PB of 3.27 which i was very pleased with. great organisation and the support throughout was great a real mix of emotion throughout the run!
Really really really would recommend this to any one!
